You are The Biggest Winner

Lessons from watching the Biggest Loser:

One of the reality shows that my wife and I like to watch is the Biggest Loser. When the contestants arrive on the ranch you can see the uphill battle that they will endure. Not only weight loss but an entire attitude change must occur. Some are a victim of past experiences in their lives and for others it hinges on the the  perception they have of ourselves.

So what does this have to do with fashion? Its quite simple, we all live in the body that we are currently in and for the most part we would like to change our body size in some way. I do not advocate that you go out and do something radical to change how you look however, some lifestyle changes that are well thought out may be something to consider. You may be too skinny and would like to put on some weight or you could have the opposite problem. It doesn't matter. You can change the way you look.

  •    Set some goals: Small ones like I want to lose 1 or 2 pounds a month.
  •    Make an inventory of small changes that you can do and set out to making those changes  gradually. It could be something like I will not eat a bedtime snack and have a glass of water instead.
  •    Monitor your progress not by weighing yourself but rather by the way you feel.
  •    Set up a diary where you can monitor your thoughts and feelings and make an entry each day. Review it often as you will see a wonderful transformation occurring.
Now lets get back to fashion, and realize that you may not be the super model runway girl and its never been your life's goal to have a lifestyle like that. Be happy in your clothes today, dress in such a way that makes you happy and have some fun doing it. When you feel good in your own skin then those around you will notice and say WOW, is it ever fun spending time with you.

Lets go shopping, I have selected a couple of my favourite on line stores for you to peruse today. I have also included my on line store for you to shop as well.
